snare

im not sure how to describe it but the snare had a bit to much pop to it and not enough snap. its equivalent in real life is having a large snare drum, and not hitting it hard enough then putting to much bass on it in the mix.
sasapb this wasnt supposed to be entertaining in the least, it was a test and he wanted an opinion, if you wanted an entire song why did you click on something with the word "test" in the title?

filtered. drums. meh.

i liked it all but the the bass drum tone, not sure how to describe it, it has punch but in the wrong place-maybe low low mids imo. the filtered tone in the intro works well but personally what i would have done (i know ur not me so each to his own) is halfway thru the filtered intro-remove the filter in the drum track, but not the gtr-itll sound epic

Filtered tone? Nah that would make the song sound like shit dude. But if you would use that in your mix meh be my guest. I think the kicker sounds fine its what I always use. It just needs some tweaking imo well the whole song does need some tweaking but I can do that later. Thanks for listening.

only thing stopping this from a 10 is the skippy gtr (could be the upload) in the begin., and it sounds like your vocalist is holding back a bit

..sorry but the the way i see it its not done, i would use real drums, or an acoustic kit on your cpu, also its not mixed well, you need to turn up the vocals an knock the gtr down a bit, also i would mike the acoustic a little closer, maybe try a condenser mic.. just my oppinion
